Photo courtesy of Tridem Collective Entertainment</div>A local theater group will present a fresh take on William Shakespeare&#x27;s &quot;Much Ado About Nothing&quot; this April at a Makati venue, promising audiences a modern twist on the beloved romantic comedy.The show is titled &quot;Love&#x27;s Labour&#x27;s Won,&quot; which director Miel Barrera Abong said was taken from a lost play speculated to be a companion piece to Shakespeare&#x27;s &quot;Love&#x27;s Labour&#x27;s Lost.&quot;The production is a &quot;contemporary adaptation&quot; of &quot;Much Ado About Nothing,&quot; and features &quot;a world of mishaps, mistaken identities, and a battle of words that turns into a battle for love... with a twist,&quot; according to a press release.The play is also adapted by Abong, an acting teacher and the artistic director of Tridem Collective Entertainment, the nonprofit educational theater group producing the show.&quot;Shakespeare’s themes are timeless, and audiences will always find something relevant in his work,&quot; Abong said, explaining why she decided to use Shakespeare&#x27;s material.&quot;When Shakespeare is staged thoughtfully, it draws audiences because it speaks to universal human struggles,&quot; Abong added.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1774847574466LLW Official Cast List - with photos.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div>The production also features original music by Twaye De Sagon and a cast of 21, including professional actors, emerging artists, and students from Tridem Collective&#x27;s acting program.The show will be staged at the third floor of the Mirror Theatre Studio in Makati City.The following are the show schedules:• April 11 - Saturday - 3:00pm and 8:00pm• April 12 - Sunday - 3:00pm and 8:00pm• April 18 - Saturday - 3:00pm and 8:00pm• April 19 - Sunday - 3:00pm and 8:00pmTickets — available at www.tttridem.com — are priced as follows:• P1,500 - Patron VIP price with an exclusive souvenir• P900 - Regular walk-in price• P880 - Regular online price• P850.00 - Discounted price for seniors, PWD, students• P4,100 - Group of 5 promo (comes out P820 each)This marks Tridem Collective Entertainment&#x27;s second production since its debut staging in September 2025, which featured a full cast of acting students.
