MANILA — After two years and 15 stops across the Philippines, EuroXtreme Circus is set to conclude its nationwide tour with a final run of performances in Quezon City this June and July.The internationally touring circus will stage its last Philippine stop from June 5 to July 12 at Parking 4 of Robinsons Novaliches along Quirino Highway, featuring a lineup of acrobatic, magic and high-risk acts that have drawn audiences across the country.The event vows to give guests a most extreme live circus experience and entertainment from its comedic interludes, magic acts, quick change acts, flying trapeze to the show&#x27;s death-defying Wheel of Suspense, and Globe of Terror.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1780370927594d8071994-c9ce-4524-990a-76f5c55a762f.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Some of the performers and executives of EuroXtreme Circus. Reyma Deveza, ABS-CBN News  Speaking at a media conference on Monday, tour director and executive producer Kenneth Lee described the Quezon City stop as the culmination of a nonstop two-year journey that brought the circus to cities and provinces nationwide. </div>&quot;It&#x27;s been a wonderful time,&quot; Kenneth Lee, tour director and executive producer of the Art Box Entertainment told members of media. &quot;This is actually our 16th stop over two years.&quot;Lee described their tour in the country as  fantastic and at the same time a challenging one. &quot;Simply because being a touring circus, we perform in a circus tent and we have tons of equipment. We have a whole group of people covering almost 50 or performers, technical crew and management staff going on tour with us. It&#x27;s a logistical challenge, transporting as many as 15 containers containing all our equipment, our seating, our tents from island to island. My wife and I, when we conceptualized this tour, this project, we wanted to do it because of our underlying objective, which is to bring world class, family-oriented entertainment to the people in the provinces and not just in the big cities. So ordinarily, we would have big shows here in Manila, but this time around we really wanted to bring our show to even the smallest and the most remote areas,&quot; said Lee, who proudly shared that their circus has already performed in places like General Santos, Tagum, La Union, and Urdaneta.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1780372033519PPP00095.JPG" style="width:633px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/>Handout&quot;This final leg will be exactly the same show that folks have witnessed over the last six months. There are a few small changes from what we did before that, but it’s basically the same act people have been seeing. And it would signify our swan song so to speak for this current tour,&quot;  Lee told ABS-CBN news.</div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1780372244374DSC07485.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Handout</div>Asked what makes the Filipino audience unforgettable, Lee said: &quot;Fundamentally, in my experience as a show producer, in the shows that I&#x27;ve presented in Malaysia, and Singapore, in Korea, in China, in Indonesia, in Thailand, that the audiences here in the Philippines, second to none, in terms of how they appreciate a good show and how they interact with what happens on stage. And even if I might say so, okay, when they interact, they interact in ways which audibly, okay, it&#x27;s pretty amazing.&quot;<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1780372110830PPP00434.JPG" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Handout</div>Jessica, the ringmistress and aerialist of EuroXtreme Circus, also echoed Lee&#x27;s words.&quot;They are so generous, the best audience I&#x27;ve ever worked with. Everyone&#x27;s so generous with their applause, they&#x27;re so kind, they&#x27;re so excited to see us, they&#x27;re so happy that we&#x27;re there, and I&#x27;ve never experienced anything like it in all the different places that I&#x27;ve worked in countries I&#x27;ve worked. The Philippines does have the best audience,&quot; she said. As a way to express their gratitude, Lee said that one special thing that EuroXtreme Circus do is to meet the crowd after every show. &quot;All our artists will line up in our foyer tent, as our hospitality tent outside the main tent, so that the audiences will have the opportunity to have their pictures taken with our artists. I kid you not, the number of people who enthusiastically come forward and be with our artists to take photos is quite amazing. It&#x27;s very heartwarming too for me,&quot; Lee said.Tickets for the final leg of EuroXtreme Circus are available <a href="http://artboxentertainment.com">online</a> and on-site  at the circus venue from 1-9 p.m. (closed Mondays). The circus will hold daily performances, except Mondays, from June 5 to July 12, with shows at 8 p.m. on weekdays and at 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on weekends.
