Pilipinas gala held in Quezon City on Monday, June 22.Her award was presented by Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Venus Raj, known to many as the country&#x27;s &quot;drought breaker&quot; in pageantry, and Bb. Pilipinas/Facebook </div>Diaz delivered a short message on stage after receiving her award, saying it has been a &quot;great privilege&quot; to be working with Bb. Pilipinas.The Filipina beauty also acknowledged how winning the Miss Universe crown has changed her life. &quot;Even when we&#x27;re abroad, the Filipinos were very nice to me and would always talk to me as if it was today that I was Miss Universe,&quot; she said. The Bb. Pilipinas 2026 coronation night will be held on July 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Two titles are up for grabs, based on last year&#x27;s edition. The winners will succeed <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/2025/6/15/katrina-anne-johnson-wins-binibining-pilipinas-international-2025-crown-0024">Bb. Pilipinas International Katrina Anne Johnson</a> and <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2025/10/16/recap-annabelle-mcdonnell-s-miss-globe-2025-journey-1609">Bb. Pilipinas Globe Annabelle McDonnell.</a>Two runners-up will also be crowned.Now on its 62nd year, Bb. Pilipinas has helped turn the Philippines into a pageant powerhouse.Back when it still held the Miss Universe franchise in the Philippines, it sent winning representatives such as Pia Wurtzbach (2015) and Catriona Gray (2018).Its other notable queens include Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul, and Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne, to name a few.
