Poster from the US Embassy in the Philippines</div>A band composed of members of the United States Marine Corps is set to perform at the SM Mall of Asia on June 28 in an event celebrating the enduring ties between the United States and the Philippines.The event, which will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Sky Amphitheater, is free of admission and will feature performances from the US Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) Band.The performance is part of the US&#x27; &quot;Freedom 250&quot; campaign, which commemorates the 250th anniversary of American independence while highlighting the continued relations between the US and the Philippines, according to a press release from the US Embassy in the Philippines.&quot;At its heart, Freedom 250 is more than a milestone—it is a moment to honor what America stands for and the ideals that have shaped it across generations.  Through the music of the MARFORPAC Band, that story is told without words, carried by the artistry, discipline, and goodwill that U.S. military musicians have brought to stages around the world,&quot; US Embassy Deputy Director of Public Engagement Chad Kinnear said in a statement.&quot;We are proud to share that experience here, as a reflection of the deep and enduring bond between our two nations,&quot; Kinnear added.The MARFORPAC Band will be joined by the Armed Forces of the Philippines Band and performers from the World Championship of Performing Arts.The band is composed of 39 Marines, with 10 members visiting the Philippines as part of the brass ensemble.During their visit to the Philippines, the band members will also hold music workshops for students at the Philippine High School for the Arts and the University of the East.  The tour will culminate at the US Embassy&#x27;s annual Independence Day reception.
