ABS-CBN News</div>Filipino doctor Lauren Labrador showed off her latest collection of items or merch from her recent travel to watch her favorite K-pop super group, BTS, in Busan, South Korea.It was not her first BTS concert as she also watched the group, especially her bias Suga, in the US, Singapore, and Thailand in recent years.Despite the high costs of air tickets and hotels, she said she had no regrets traveling abroad for her favorite group. Aside from seeing BTS live, she said there is also joy in meeting other ARMYs or BTS fans and also exploring other countries.“Meeting your group, your favorite, your bias live, it’s something you can’t explain the feeling. It’s really fun and enjoying the entire time during the concert. That was the best,” she said. Labrador admitted buying the concert tickets was a bit challenging since there was a big possibility she won’t be able to purchase one online. Another challenge was the rising cost of travel. She said one just needs to plan ahead of time.“I usually plan way way before hand. Once the tour started, I started planning with my friends who are ARMYs also. The recent trip in Busan was special because of the anniversary of the group and there was the BTS Festa where there were so many activities across the city.“It’s for stress relief also and of course interaction with a lot of people. And also to enjoy it with my friends who are ARMYs,” she said.Aside from BTS, she also watched concerts of other K-pop groups abroad.“I’ve also explored a lot of groups like Seventeen, Enhypen and recently Cortis. I’ve seen Seventeen also in Korea three years ago and then whenever they come here in the Philippines. And then I’ve also seen Enhypen, I also went to their Bangkok, Thailand concert last year,” she said.She admitted being a fan can be costly because of the high price of tickets and of the merchandise. But she jokingly said this is her adult money. However, now she also plans to budget for future travels.When asked if she will travel again soon to watch BTS?She said no plans yet, but she will definitely watch the concert here in the Philippines next year.
