He has opened successful restaurants around the world including his first restaurant in Manila, <strong>Gordon Ramsay Bar &amp; Grill </strong>at the Newport World Resorts Philippines. “I honestly think that I’m more in love in Manila than they are in love with me,” he shared when asked how Filipinos welcome him in the country. Gordon Ramsay uses his platform to share mouth-watering dishes, and cooking tips that every aspiring chef can benefit from.</p><p>He also uses social media as a tool to listen to his guests’ requests and feedback on his food. On maintaining his restaurant’s standards, he said, “We focus on training… we’re doing 60, 90, 120-day intense training, so we have managed to be consistent before we open. We have an amazing team. That level of consistency is crucial with the kind of feedback we’re getting from the customers. I love that intrusion of social media because we could be in New York and there’s a guest eating lunch here at Bar &amp; Grill but we can get their feedback in an instant.” </p><p>He continued, “The whole team is on it and we take negative [feedback] very seriously. We listen to the comments. We listen to the critiques. Hence, he encouraged today’s generation to use and embrace social media as a platform to establish confidence in the global scene, to be known and to connect, to share their ideas with the world, and to learn from the platform. According to him, this modern and convenient platform could help people sell themselves and share the things they love to do, primarily, cooking. Social media, Gordon says, is “part of the food today.”</p><p>He’s also in awe of how Filipinos can add flavors to their dishes and how simple food can turn into something else. He even asked <strong>Abi Marquez</strong>, the “Lumpia Queen” to come up on stage to be acknowledged. They collaborated on Abi’s social media content and Gordon explained Abi’s dish (Beef Wellington in a Lumpia wrapper) as “exquisite, absolutely exquisite.” Abi is best known for putting beloved Filipino dishes into lumpia wrappers. And with this, Gordon remarked, “Get dangers. He said, “And wherever we go in the world, there will always be a walk, a hike, a run, or a quick bike ride.” He emphasized the need to relax, refresh, and take some time out for you to be able to think straight and go back to work better each time. </p><p>He shared, “So when you take time out from that busy zone and you contemplate and refresh, training actually becomes therapeutic because you process everything. And we need time away. And so that is crucial to find that balance. And if you don&#x27;t get that, you get consumed, and then you can&#x27;t think straight, and you can&#x27;t review things. They just spent their holidays together. He and his wife have six children. Tilly Ramsay has just graduated from a culinary school in Ireland and Gordon joked, “I was a little bit concerned that she didn&#x27;t want to be taught by her father.” Megan, their eldest daughter is a police officer; Jack is a Royal Marine Commander for Britain and his fraternal twin, Holly, is getting married. </p><p>Gordon excitedly shared, “We just found out that they are getting married this year, Holly and Adam. So, we have our first wedding.
