Asked about his take on this idea, Dave told <strong>Metro.Style</strong>, &quot;My interpretation of this theme for the red carpet and the overall look of the Ball—we&#x27;re still maintaining the signature style of the red carpet of ABS-CBN, which is simple, classic, timeless, and elegant. So, <em>nand&#x27;yan pa rin &#x27;yung </em>t<em></em>rademark <em>natin na </em>green walls. But for this year, we&#x27;re adding a bit of twist to match the &#x27;spring formal&#x27; concept.&quot;</p><p>To guide his mood board, Dave said the idea of a &quot;fresh beginning&quot; came to mind. &quot;Fresh start, blossoming of flowers,&quot; he added. &quot;&#x27;<em>Pag titingnan mo siya</em>, it looks very clean, very polished, <em>maaliwalas</em>. Simple is the styling direction.&quot;</p><p>Achieving &quot;understated elegance,&quot; as Dave described it, was the goal even for the ballroom. Sharing a key design element in the venue, he cited the classic drapery as a remarkable trend in event styling today. He utilized this style to balance out the floral details, creating focal points for an overall cohesive look. He said, &quot;[It&#x27;s] Phalaenopsis orchids. <em>Kahit isang </em>piece <em>lang siya</em>, statement <em>siya</em> and it&#x27;s very elegant.<em></em><em></em>&quot;</p><p>Flowers like that are very aligned with Dave&#x27;s signature style, which always exudes classic elegance. Describing his aesthetics, he said, &quot;[It&#x27;s] intricate but not shouting.
