We can all agree that JM de Guzman is one of the most talented, handsome, and hottest actors in the local entertainment scene. However, not many of us probably know that he’s actually a doting and supportive brother to his siblings, and one of them is his younger brother, Joshua Raphael G. de Guzman, MD. He may not be an actor like his kuya, but Joshua, whom their family fondly calls “Ratski” because of having a squint in one of his eyes, is actually more than just a pretty face. In one of JM’s Instagram posts in 2021, we’re able to find out how a smart and diligent student Joshua was when the former shared the great news that the latter had already accomplished his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. But not only that, he graduated as cum laude! How awesome, right?JM did it by posting a photo of Joshua while in his scrubs along with his graduation picture, then wrote in the caption, “proud of you baby bro” and encouraged him to “go and save lives”.But that wasn’t the first time that we got to see Joshua, as he had appeared in some previous IG posts of JM, as well as in an episode of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/magandangbuhay">Magandang Buhay</a> in 2018, along with their two other brothers, Matthew and Paolo. <div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" referrerPolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dfL4AxQ9P-4?si=CjBZiGEbQMe179Ig" title="YouTube video player" width="560"></iframe></div>When asked by the momshie-hosts how he would rate their Kuya JM, Joshua uttered “9”. He explained, “Wala namang perfect na brother, pero malapit na siyang maging perfect.” In return, the actor imparted that his little brother was a full scholar then and was about to become a doctor.As we all know, JM went through a rough patch in his life, which required him to undergo rehabilitation. According to Joshua, they helped him go through it by providing him with constant support and tough love. JM recounted how his family was firm in not letting him go out of the rehab center until he was completely well, even when he conveyed to them that he was already having a hard time.With regard to what he admires about his Kuya JM, he said that it would be his being “passionate,” which he finds really inspiring.Go through this gallery to see some of Joshua’s handsome photos that prove that good genes really run in their family!
