But behind the cameras, Madam Inutz is a loving, hard working woman whose biggest motivation in life is her mother and kids.“Ang nagpa stand─out kay Daisy Lopez at Madam Inutz ay ‘yung pagiging survivor niya, pagiging palaban niya sa buhay, ‘yung pagiging masayahin niya despite how difficult the situation o pinagdadaanan niya.” Fighting with unbreakable grit is Dawn’s biggest similarity with Madam Inutz.Dawn didn’t lack effort in her preparation and portrayal. As soon as bagging the role, she watched Madam Inutz’ online videos and studied how she speaks and acts. She observed her facial expression, tone of voice, what makes her tick, and learned to cuss comfortably. “Can you imagine prinactice ko magmura nang hindi nahihiya. Prinactice kong magmura nang hindi ako nagso-sorry pagkatapos.” Most especially, she studied her motivation as a person, “Kailangan kong malaman kung ano ‘yung nag-drive sa kanya to become Madam Inutz which is ‘yung mapapanood ng mga tao sa MMK episode, kung paano si Daisy o Madam Inutz. Malalaman nila ‘yung istorya niya.”Dawn was determined to give her best in her first lead MMK role. She even requested to immerse in Madam Inutz’ world for a day to get to know her mother but strict protocols didn’t allow her. Nonetheless they were able to brainstorm with the team.She fully embraced the opportunity, which she believes she manifested. Dawn said that days before it was offered, she was musing on moving out of her comfort zone as an actress. In her years in showbiz since PBB, she mostly played small roles like secretary or mistress. She knows she can do more and she wanted to do more, especially in drama and action. So, imagine her surprise when her first lead MMK role came just days after. She grabbed the project because she asked for it.
