Chie Filomeno and Regine Tolentino share the fuel that keeps their fire burning, and the sisterhood they formed through dancing. In the second part of the episode, Janine Gutierrez makes a sweet confession about Paulo Avelino.Chie, a former member of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime">It’s Showtime</a>’s GirlTrend, may be cute and petite but the moment she takes on the stage, she becomes fierce. Her fire, she gets from the love of her parents, who treat her like the most precious thing in the world. They are the hidden power in her every performance and her first influences in dancing. She revealed that they come with her to work every day as her assistant and driver even though she asks them to just relax at home.“Nakikita ko silang nahihirapan pero okay lang sa kanila kasi lumuluwag ‘yung parang schedule ko dahil sa kanila. Hindi ako nase-stress sa schedule ko dahil sa kanila,” she related. Besides, the time spent together at work every day also doubles as the chance to bond. During the interview, her parents were outside the studio waiting, “’Yun na ‘yung date nila. Quality time din nila together.”Similarly, Regine also got the dancing genes from her mom, who has a background in ballet, Tahitian dance, and theater. Regine said she started showing her natural inclination to dance even before she learned how to walk. At the age of three, she enrolled in a ballet class and other dance lessons thereafter. “I just love to dance ever since. ‘Yun na ang naging outlet ko from school, from mga stress.”Regine is currently breastfeeding her youngest child, one-year-old Rosie, while reporting to <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime">It’s Showtime</a> daily. She also has a sewing business to manage. It would’ve been easier if her first two daughters Reigne and Reigen are here to assist in the business like they used to, but they are currently studying abroad. The distance adds more to the challenge as a mother, yet she manages to keep their bond through communication.“From morning til night lagi ako nangungumusta and always sending mga messages of inspiration and just telling them how proud I am of them.” She’s looking forward to Reigne and Reigen coming home next month. She’s excited to experience again her kids cooking for her, styling her outfits, and just doing random sweet things, “Very malambing kaming family, like, very hug-y, touchy… The love, sobra-sobra, like, there’s so much love talaga to give and receive.”Talking more about love, Regine and Chie are happy to express their love for dancing through their stints as mentors on It’s Showtime’s “Girl on Fire” segment. Best of all, they are glad to have found a sister in each other.Chie revealed the many ways Regine attends to her, especially in dressing her up every day, “As in hindi na kailangan na siya ‘yung tumutok kasi I have a stylist, pero siya yung tumututok. Dala-dala niya ‘yung maleta niya, ‘Chie, check the clothes.
