Regine, Jolina Melai reveal who makes them happy, what they are grateful for

It’s officially December! Regine Velasquez, Jolina Magdangal, and Melai Cantiveros get into the holiday mood by practicing gratitude and embracing the joy they get from other people, which is the main theme of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/tayo-ang-ligaya-ng-isat-isa-christmas-id-music-video-touches-netizens-hearts-18524">ABS-CBN’s 2022 Christmas ID “Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa.” </a>The video opens with the question, “Sino ang tinuturing mong ligaya sa buhay mo?” which reminded Regine of the genuine happiness she gets from being a mom to Nate and her stepchildren. She also mentioned her mom, mother-in-law, and of course her husband Ogie Alcasid.Answering the question, Jolina praised the Lord, her source of bliss and all good things. “If you put Him first, everything will follow. Kaya din bonded ‘yung family because of God. Kaya ‘yung love namin ng asawa ko for each other ay laging nando’n because of God. Ang pagmamahalan namin ng mga anak ko ay dahil we always pray, we always thank God for all the things na nakukuha namin everyday, mapasimpleng bagay, napakalaking blessing,” she reflected. Melai’s heart also glows with happiness that can only come from God. She said, “Lahat ng mga dinadasal ko, Siya ang nagbibigay, so I give all credit to Lord Jesus Christ.”Asked what they are grateful for, the momshies didn’t forget to mention their second home, ABS-CBN. Regine said being a Kapamilya reinvigorated her joy in performing, “Nagkaroon ako ng excitement ulit sa pagkanta and that’s what I needed before. Now, I’m getting it, so thank you to ABS-CBN.” She also thanked the people she is working with for the inspiration they give.Waking up appreciating the things and people around you will make you happier and more resilient, as proven by Jolina, who is beyond grateful for simple things like waking up next to her husband and kids.“’Yun pa lang, yun na ang umpisa ng buong araw ko na masaya. Kung may pinagdaanan man ako nu’ng nakaraang araw, alam ko na bukas sasaya ulit ako kasi ‘yung pinagpapasalamat ko at pinagdasal ko ang makikita ko pagmulat ng mata ko,&quot; shared Jolina, who is married to musician Mark Escueta and has two kids.She is also thankful to a few close friends who are like extended family, “Walang judgment, eh. Sila ‘yung nag-a-uplift sa soul ko every day to always be grateful din sa lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay natin.”These are the people who help her be more positive despite minor everyday hassles and major challenges. “Babalik pa rin ako doon sa buhay ako, may family akong masaya, mabait ‘yung mga anak ko, mabait ‘yung asawa ko. And more pa ‘yun kesa doon sa pagdadaanan ko.”Momshie Melai also poured her appreciation to ABS-CBN, “Kahit maraming dumaang pagsubok, nandito pa rin tayo.
