Magandang Buhay: Jane and Janella’s touching message for each other

And that’s exactly what JaneNella models.</p><p>In this episode of <strong><a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/magandangbuhay"><u>Magandang Buhay</u></a>,</strong> we round up reasons that make Jane de Leon and Janella Salvador our newest friendship goals.</p><div> </div><div><strong>They defy on-screen rivalry</strong></div><p>Playing enemies as Darna and Valentina on <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna"><strong><u>Mars Ravelo’s Darna</u></strong></a>, it’s easy to assume that Jane and Janella are rivals in real life, too. But they are not. In the episode, they shared that although they weren&#x27;t that close in the beginning, they made an effort to break each other&#x27;s walls knowing they’d be spending a lot of time together in their taping bubble.</p><p>And the one thing that helped establish their bond is ‘kwek-kwek.’ Janella narrated, “Lagi kasi ako sa set gutom. Siya din, gutom din siya. Sabi ko, ‘Parang gusto ko ng kwek-kwek.’ Tapos nagulat ako, the next day ‘ata bumili siya ng ingredients. Tapos sabi niya sa akin, ‘Magluluto ako ng kwek-kwek, ah. Punta ka sa kwarto ko.’”</p><div> </div><div><strong>Everything is fun whenever they’re together </strong></div><p>JaneNella had a lot of fun during their Las Vegas tour for <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/asap"><strong><u>ASAP Natin ‘To</u></strong></a>. In their photos and videos, we saw them goofing around together. Since Janella loves to do crazy things, Jane was there to look after her. “Kumabaga, siya binabantayan niya si Jude. Ako naman nagbabantay kay Jea,” Jane revealed, which Janella seconded, “Lagi siya kinakabahan ‘pag nagla-live kami kasi kung anu-ano ginagawa ko – maligalig.”</p><p>Binge-watching horror flicks is their go-to bonding activity. And it’s Jane who curates their movie marathon list as she knows exactly her best friend’s taste.</p><div> </div><div><strong>They totally understand each other</strong></div><p>It can be a challenge for introverts to make friends and talk to people. But because they are both introverts, they get each other’s mood. When one of them is too quiet, they don’t take it personally. Instead, they respect each other’s alone time and capacity to socialize. That way, they make their sisterhood run smoothly.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Jane is a loving ‘tita’ to Baby Jude </strong></div><p>Janella divulged an adorable story about her two-year-old son Baby Jude clinging to Jane. “Maraming gustong bumuhat sa kanya. But there was one time he was kind of sick, kay Jane lang siya sumama.” Jane added, “Binababa ko si Jude, ayaw talaga niyang bumaba. Tapos no’ng aalis na ako, hinug niya pa ‘yung dito [leg] ko.”</p><div> </div><div><strong>They got each other’s back</strong></div><p>Real friendships stay even after a project is done. That’s why JaneNella promises to be one another’s constant companion and support system. “Minahal kita as Janella Salvador. Always love yourself, kung ano man ‘yung napag-uusapan natin. Proud ako sa’yo kasi mas naggo-grow ka na as a person. And kasama mo kami sa journey mo,” vowed Jane, who fondly calls her BFF ‘love.’ </p><p>Janella matched that sweet message with, “As a person, I appreciate that you know how to stand your ground. Alam mo kung hanggang saan ka. Sana alamin mo din kung kailan ka magpapahinga. Kailangan mo din magpahinga minsan.
