Championing advocacies these days has become much easier and more accessible. As the following initiatives prove, we can all support various causes by simply purchasing themed products that hold significance in a mission. One small act means a precious contribution to a bigger picture.

HOPE Collaborates with Filipino Brands to Build Classrooms for the Next Generation

HOPE, the Philippines’ first certified B Corp and a pioneering impact organization, launches Generation HOPE—a partnership with the country’s most beloved brands to help address the urgent need of building more public school classrooms nationwide.

This initiative brings together the country's most beloved brands, such as BDO, Carmen’s Best, Grab, Penshoppe, Aivee Clinic, SM Supermalls, and Sunnies, to enable every Filipino to vote with their peso to support nation-building through the building of public school classrooms. Together, these purpose-driven companies and their consumers share a vision to close the education gap and make sure every Filipino child has a safe, comfortable place to learn.

HOPE and its partner brands have created unique ways for Filipinos to enjoy being part of this movement.

BDO customers will soon be able to own a BDO “HOPE in Every Spend” credit card, and a portion of their spend using the credit card will automatically be donated to building public schools. More than that, they can convert their Rewards points into donations, and a portion of the annual membership fee will also be donated to HOPE.

Carmen’s Best is preparing limited-edition offerings—Hope in a Scoop and Hope in a Pint—that blend indulgence with impact. Grab users will have the option to use GrabRewards points to support classroom construction and make donations.

Aivee Clinic will introduce the Aivee x HOPE collection, featuring limited edition items like bags and tags, along with specially designed Skin Bank cards for the cause.

Penshoppe is launching an exclusive line of HOPE-themed t-shirts, hoodies, caps, and bags. SM Supermalls will donate a portion of sales from SM-branded water bottles sold at partner food merchants.

Sunnies will unveil a clean lens kit and specially designed Sunnies Flask for this collaboration. Each product from the partnership offers a simple, tangible way to help build a better future through education.

SM Unveils New Merch to Strengthen Support for DENR’s “Save from Extinction” Campaign

SM is amplifying its commitment to wildlife conservation with the launch of a captivating new merchandise line dedicated to six of the Philippines’ most endangered species. At the forefront of this initiative are plushies of the Philippine eagle, Philippine cockatoo, pawikan, dugong, tamaraw, and pangolin—adorable symbols of hope carrying an urgent message: save them from extinction.

But there is more to this exciting campaign than cuddly toys from Toy Kingdom. SM has expanded its offerings to include chic new shirt designs from Kultura and a children’s apparel line from SM Fashion, inviting everyone—from eco-conscious advocates to young animal enthusiasts—to support the cause in style. Merchandise is available in select Kultura and Toy Kingdom branches: SM Podium, SM Mall of Asia, SM Aura, SM North EDSA, and SM Makati.

This initiative is a cornerstone of SM’s partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) under the “Save from Extinction” campaign that was launched in October 2024. Designed to raise awareness and generate much-needed funds to protect the six species vulnerable to extinction, the campaign shines a spotlight on these species, which face critical threats to their survival due to habitat loss, poaching, and climate change.

DENR has also partnered with wildlife conservation groups to safeguard these animals such as the Forest Foundation Philippines, Katala Foundation, Philippine Eagle Foundation, World Wide Fund for Nature–Philippines, D’Aboville Foundation, and the Zoological Society of London. Proceeds from every purchase in this collection will directly support the conservation programs of the DENR and its partner NGOs.

In addition to the merchandise, Banco De Oro (BDO) Unibank, Inc., a key partner in the campaign, is offering donation channels to make it even easier for the public to contribute. The public can easily make donations through BDO ATMs and branches nationwide, as well as through the BDO Online app. All collected funds will go to the partner NGOs dedicated to the conservation of these species.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Philippines' 22nd Anniversary Campaign Supports a Meaningful Cause

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Philippines proudly celebrates its 22nd year with a heartfelt campaign that honors the loyal community that has been part of its journey. This year’s anniversary celebration is centered on gratitude—a moment to reflect on the many memories shared over cups of coffee and tea.

Building on the legacy of past anniversary themes such as #20YearsOfYouAndMe and #AStoryInEveryCup, CBTL’s 22nd Anniversary Campaign shines a spotlight on the customers who have helped shape the brand.

More than just a celebration, this campaign serves as a love letter to the community that has made every year meaningful. With the handle #WithLoveCBTL, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® expresses heartfelt gratitude for shared moments, memories, and milestones.

CBTL's 22nd Anniversary Collection is headlined by the limited-edition Everywear Tote available in Cream, Navy, and Olive. This collectible tote marks the return of the stamping season and can be redeemed for 20 stamps or purchased for a retail value of ₱2,600.

Just in time for the anniversary, the brand introduces the Shaken Espresso Series—bold espresso, shaken until perfectly chilled to deliver a smoother, creamier texture with a frothy finish. The new line features two refreshing flavors: Signature Shaken Espresso and White Mocha Shaken Espresso.

This year’s celebration also supports a meaningful cause. A portion of the campaign will go toward The U-Go Scholar Grant, a program by the Ayala Foundation that provides financial assistance to ambitious young women in public universities. Sharing what CBTL has done for this initiative, Ayala Foundation's external relations manager, Christopher Cabiles, said, "In 2023, CBTL supported two U-Go scholars to pursue their college education, fully covered for four years. Then, in 2024, they deepened their commitment, ensuring that another two U-Go scholars would be fully supported through their academic journey. And this year, in their 22nd anniversary, 2025, they pledged to give another 12 deserving young women the opportunity to pursue their college education. He further said that what makes CBTL's partnership special to them is not only the financial contribution but also the heart behind the contribution. Cabiles added, while thanking CBTL, "Every peso you've invested grants access to education and, by so doing, it gives young Filipinas the opportunity to break that intergenerational cycle of poverty to give back to their communities and, ultimately, to thrive."

Nonprofit organization Make-A-Wish® Philippines announces its first-ever charity golf tournament, Swing for Wishes, which will mark the culmination of its 25th anniversary in the country. The proceeds raised from the event will help make 525 life-changing wishes come true this year, reaffirming the foundation’s commitment to bringing hope, strength, and joy to children with critical illnesses.

With the generous support of the wish community, Make-A-Wish® Philippines has been able to grant 5,384 wishes and counting since its establishment in 2000. “A wish can do more than just inspire children - it creates precious memories, uplifts families and communities, and translates those positive emotions into improvements in children’s well-being. We call on everyone who wants to make a difference in children’s lives to join Swing for Wishes and help us create unforgettable experiences for these brave kids,” shared Make-A-Wish® Philippines Executive Director Aleah Ortiz.
