Elmo Francis Sarona and 14 other officials over graft allegations on the release of gun licenses.PNP chief Director General Ricardo Marquez said the FEO officials are under investigation for allegedly releasing License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF) to some applicants who presented incomplete or falsified requirements.During two separate sting operations in November 2015, undercover operatives of the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) also obtained LTOPF certificates without submitting requirements for a package fee of P15,000.S/Supt. Cesar Binay will replace Sarona as FEO head.The 14 other FEO officials under investigation were reassigned to the Office of the Director - Civil Security Group (CSG).Among the primary requirements in applying for LTOPF certification are clearances for neuro-psychiatric evaluation and drug test.Applicants should also submit a certificate for gun safety and responsible gun ownership, Directorate for Intelligence clearance, Regional/Municipal Trial Court clearance, birth certificate or valid passport, two government issued IDs, and certification of residency. -- Report from Jon Ibanez, DZMM
