<figure class="op-social"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FwOpaH-vc7E" width="420"></iframe></figure>Several minors, aged between 12 and 15, tested positive for using illegal drugs after attending a concert in Pasay City last weekend, a toxicologist confirmed Thursday.Dr. Wency Kiat of the St. Luke&#x27;s Medical Center said tests showed that the patients were positive for ecstasy, marijuana and shabu or methamphetamine.Kiat said the parents of the minors brought them to the hospital after noticing that the children were having difficulty in sleeping and were absent-minded.The patients later admitted to taking party drugs during the &quot;Close-up Forever Summer Concert&quot; at the SM Mall of Asia.According to the doctor, the minors admitted to buying the drugs for P1,000, and were told to take only half of the capsule.READ: <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/nation/metro-manila/05/25/16/witness-claims-drugs-sold-during-pasay-concert">Witness claims drugs sold during Pasay concert</a>Kiat said he did not recommend rehabilitation for the minors, and only advised their parents to monitor their condition.The toxicologist also listed common symptoms of drug dependency among youngsters.Marijuana users, he said, suffer redness of the eyes and would often wear shades. They also tend to be absent-minded.Meanwhile, those addicted to shabu may stay awake for days on end, and then sleep for days.
