VIRAL: Even in death, faithful dog stands by its master

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2016/regions2/06/22/ceria.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Saicy at the door of the emergency room while its owner fights for his life inside the room. <em>Photo courtesy of Arvin Ceria</em></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA - A photo of a dying man&#x27;s dog patiently waiting at the door of an emergency room in Davao City has gone viral on social media.</p><p>In <a href="https://www.facebook.com/arvin.ceria1/posts/1252948751396984">his post</a>, Alvin Ceria said the dog named &quot;Saicy&quot; followed its owner, Elenito Bandayanon, who was rushed by a neighbor to the Davao Doctors Hospital due to cardiac arrest.</p><p>Ceria, who is working for the Metro Davao Medical and Research Center, said the dog kept barking outside the ER as Badayon was fighting for his life.</p><p>&quot;The dog was barking, it wanted to go inside the ER,&quot; said Ceria, who also revealed in the post that its owner eventually died.</p><p>&quot;Sad to say the patient died. His story dates back to the 1920s when he was taken under the care of his master, Professor Hidesaburo Ueno.</p><p>The dog would arrive at the train station every day to wait for the return of his master from work.
