<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/news/02/08/ipsos-1.png"/><figcaption>The Philippines was among countries with least accurate perception of their nation&#x27;s issues.</figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA - The Philippines ranked third among countries &quot;most ignorant&quot; on their nation&#x27;s key issues, according to a report by news website <a href="https://www.indy100.com/article/most-ignorant-accurate-countries-mapped-world-2017-ipsos-mori-study-south-africa-sweden-8194016">Indy100</a>.</p><p>The report was based on a <a href="https://www.ipsos.com/sites/default/files/ct/news/documents/2017-12/ipsos-mori-perils-of-perception-2017-charts.pdf">survey</a> conducted by market research firm Ipsos MORI, wherein South Africa and Brazil ranked first and second in having the least accurate perception of their nation&#x27;s issues. In 2016, the Philippines placed 16th.</p><p>Despite giving inaccurate answers, respondents from the Philippines also ranked third among those most confident.</p><p>&quot;Despite being among the least accurate, respondents in India, the Philippines and Peru are among the most confident in their answers,&quot; the report read.</p><p>Norway, Germany and Sweden, meanwhile, were among the most accurate despite being the least confident in their answers.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/news/02/08/ipsos-2.png"/><figcaption>The Philippines ranked third among countries that were most confident in their answers.</figcaption></figure></div><p>The survey asked 500 respondents aged 16-64 from the Philippines regarding teenage births, vaccine and autism, diabetes, alcohol, and religion among others.</p><p>The firm conducted 29,133 interviews between September to October 2017 in 38 countries. </p>
