MANILA - The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Tuesday that the number coding scheme for vehicles would be lifted on Friday, a non-working holiday.

The MMDA on Tuesday said the suspension of the unified vehicular volume reduction program covers all areas in Metro Manila except Las Piñas.

Malacañang earlier declared Feb. 16 a special non-working holiday in celebration of the Chinese New Year celebration.
