<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/news/02/17/fake-021617.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc"><cite>Photo by Angelo Andrade, ABS-CBN News</cite></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>CAGAYAN DE ORO – Police on Wednesday arrested two women for allegedly counterfeiting government identification cards and other official documents in Cagayan de Oro City.</p><p>Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives arrested Marietta Beltran, 36, and Nycee Gultiano, 18, during an entrapment operation along Chavez Street.</p><p>Authorities seized fake driver’s licenses, Philippine Postal Corp. ID cards, and several other government ID cards from the suspects. They also confiscated equipment such as printers, computers, and lamination machines.</p><p>&quot;Kumpleto, kahit ano ire-request mo sa kanila pati diploma gagawin nila. Parang kung sa Maynila, doon sa Recto. Kaya nilang gawin lahat,&quot; said Chief Inspector Melgar Devaras, deputy chief of CIDG Region 10.</p><p>Beltran and Gultiano denied their involvement in falsification of documents, and claimed they only accepted encoding and photocopying jobs.</p><p>Police have filed a case against the suspects.</p>
