Eddie” Villanueva told ANC&#x27;s &quot;Headstart&quot;.</p><p>Villanueva, also representative of the Citizens&#x27; Battle Against Corruption party-list, said the country&#x27;s next president must have &quot;genuine fear of God&quot;.</p><p>&quot;The bible says fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and without wisdom, no leader can succeed,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;Kaya mahalaga sa amin &#x27;yung God-fearing. &#x27;Pag God-fearing, talagang matatakot kang gumawa ng gargantuan corruption right and left,&quot; the evangelist said, adding some of those closest to past presidents had become &quot;instant millionaires and billionaires&quot;.</p><p>Villanueva said almost all of the presidential aspirants are his friends.</p><p>&quot;All of them are my friends. Last election, they seek my prayer, Bongbong, Leni, even Isko invited me when he was vice mayor. Even Ping Lacson came to my house when he ran as senator,&quot; he said.</p><p>As the official campaign period just started, Villanueva said he &quot;believed the Lord will clearly speak to God&#x27;s people&quot; on who should be the next president.</p><div><strong>CAN HE ENDORSE MARCOS?</strong></div><p>Despite being imprisoned twice during the martial rule, the JIL leader said he was open to endorsing presidential aspirant Ferdinand Marcos Jr.</p><p>&quot;Well, nothing is impossible to God. If God tells me, you support that man whether he is born again or not born again, how can I say no?&quot; he said.</p><p>Guided by the &quot;principles of God,&quot; Villanueva said he could now even love his enemies.</p><p>&quot;Bago na ako e. Pastor ako e. Binago ako ng Diyos. Kaya sa akin, ang principles ng Diyos ang sinusunod ko, hindi principle ng tao,&quot; he said.</p><p>Amnesty International estimates the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos&#x27; security forces either killed, tortured, sexually abused, mutilated or arbitrarily detained about 70,000 opponents, according to its Philippine vice chairperson Aurora Parong.</p><p>The Marcos clan fled to Hawaii in 1986 after a bloodless popular revolt ended a 20-year rule marked by allegations of widespread human rights abuses and embezzlement of billions of dollars from state coffers.</p><p>The family returned to the Philippines in the 1990s and began to revive their political fortune.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/02/17/22/pacquiao-wants-eddie-villanueva-as-corruption-czar">Pacquiao wants Eddie Villanueva as corruption czar</a></li></ul><p>Last week, Sen.
