<p>A Chinese cargo ship was held off Bredco Port in Bacolod City Monday night to block a possible novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection from its crew from China, which is at the center of the virus&#x27; outbreak.</p><p>The vessel MV Unicorn Bravo sailed from Xiamen Port carrying at least 3.3 metric tons of fertilizer, which is consigned to a Filipino-Chinese distributor based in Bacolod, authorities said.</p><p>This is the ship&#x27;s first time in the Bacolod area, they added.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><div id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1_Container"> <ivs-player id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1" data-ivs-spid="3001339" data-ivs-key="e8c22c015ca9eafa76f1e3edfa03c603" data-ivs-vid="1379903" data-ivs-floating="1"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/iframe-parent.js"></script> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js"></script> </div></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>Lt. Commander Jansen Benjamin of the Philippine Coast Guard in Negros Occidental said the ship has 19 crew members, 14 of which are Chinese.</p><p>According to the official, the crew&#x27;s body temperature was normal but they will remain off Bredco Port.
