#WalangPasok: Class suspensions on February 27 due to transport strike

MANILA -- Malacañang on Sunday night announced the suspension of classes on Monday "in all affected areas nationwide" due to a looming transport strike by jeepney operators protesting the planned phaseout of their vehicles.

Classes have been suspended in the following areas and schools:

NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION
Classes in elementary and high school in both private and public schools

ANTIPOLO CITY
Classes in all levels, public and private

BACOLOD CITY
Classes in all levels in all public schools

CAINTA, RIZAL
Classes in all levels

ILOILO CITY
Classes in all levels

MANDAUE CITY, CEBU
Classes in pre-school and public elementary levels

TALISAY, CEBU
