Kahit ilan pang extension, wala ring mangyayari kung walang malinaw at makatotohanang solusyon,&quot; she said.</p><p>(No matter how many extensions, nothing will happen without a clear and feasible solution.)</p><p>Meanwhile, Sen. Risa Hontiveros said the extension was only a band-aid solution and would not address the inherent flaws of the modernization program.</p><p>&quot;Itong extension ng deadline, oo nga inurong sa katapusan ng taon, pero sa natitirang 9 na buwan, sapat na ba para ipanganak ang isang maayos na PUV modernization na katanggap-tanggap at sustainable sa lahat ng mga stakeholders? Ano ba talaga ang realistic na timeline once and for all?&quot; Hontiveros asked. </p><p>(The deadline was pushed back to the end of the year, but is the remaining 9 months enough to create a PUV modernization that is acceptable and sustainable to all stakeholders? What is the realistic timeline?)</p><p>In a privilege speech Tuesday, Poe heavily criticized the LTFRB and DOTr over the program, adding that the timeline was &quot;inhumane&quot; and an &quot;insanity.&quot;</p><p>“To enforce a deadline is not only insanity, but also inhumane... It is contrary to the constitutional directive to promote social justice in all phases of national development...
