<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/news/03/06/lascanas-polongduterte-030617.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Arturo Lascañas and Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte. <cite>Composite Image</cite></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA – Self-confessed Davao Death Squad (DDS) hitman Arturo Lascañas on Monday claimed that the group killed a man who once attacked the eldest son of President Rodrigo Duterte, incumbent Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte. </p><p>In a Senate hearing, Lascañas, a retired cop, said a motorcycle rider hit Paolo on the head with a helmet during a road altercation. </p><p>“Bumaba itong isang rider, pinalo si vice mayor sa mukha, hindi siya (Paolo) nakilala. And then [nung] nakiklala na niya si vice mayor, tumakbo sila,” Lascañas said.</p><p>(This man alighted his motorcycle and hit the vice mayor on the face. He initially did not recognize that the driver was the vice mayor. However, Paolo did not want to do the dirty job, he added. </p><p>“Hindi niya inano, sabi niya bahala kayo dyan. Tinuluyan namin,” Lascañas said.</p><p>(Paolo did not do anything to him. He told us to handle it. And we carried it out.) </p><p>“Dahil hindi niya sinabi na dalhin sa istasyon, kami na lang ang pumatay. Kami na ang gumawa ng initiative.”</p><p>(Because he didn&#x27;t tell us to bring the man to the station, we decided to kill him. We took the initiative.) </p>
