MANILA - Makati City on Monday will impose a curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to further restrict movement of its residents following Metro Manila&#x27;s month-long community quarantine, its mayor Abigail Binay said Sunday.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/03/14/20/metro-manila-curfew-likely-to-start-monday-dilg-chief">Metro Manila curfew likely to start Monday - Año</a></li></ul>Malls will also be prohibited from operating until the quarantine ends on April 14 or &quot;until further notice depending on the situation,&quot; Binay said.Drugstores, groceries, hardware, clinics, and banks, however, will be allowed to operate. Restaurants may continue operations for take-out and delivery, which is allowed until 8 p.m.Delivery during curfew hours must secure permits from Makati City Hall, the mayor said.Construction works inside malls are also allowed, she added.The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) earlier announced a curfew would be imposed in the region but later clarified it would not be immediately enforced, as local governments need to first pass local ordinances to implement it in their respective jurisdictions.
