Magnitude 4.1 quake jolts Bohol

MANILA - A magnitude 4.1 earthquake rattled Bohol province late Monday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

The quake struck at 10:46 p.m., some nine kilometers southeast of Anda town.

It was tectonic in origin and struck at a depth of 12 kilometers, Phivolcs said.

Intensity III was felt in Tagbilaran City.

Phivolcs said it does not expect either damage or aftershocks from the tremor.
