MANILA- A dinner party for President Rodrigo Duterte's allies saw several big names under one roof.

The party, hosted by Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Jay Velasco and his wife Wen at Sofitel Philippine Plaza on Thursday night, was attended by businessmen and high-ranking government officials.

Among those who joined the party were former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, Bohol Rep. Arthur Yap, former Speaker Sonny Belmonte, and San Miguel Corp. President Ramon Ang.

The President's daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, was also seen briefly shaking hands with House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez in front of her father.

Mayor Duterte previously slammed Alvarez for allegedly calling her part of the opposition when she formed a separate regional political party.

Singers Zsa Zsa Padilla, Jed Madela and Lani Misalucha were also at the event to perform.
