MANILA - The Philippine National Police Women and Children Protection Center (PNP-WCPC) arrested in an entrapment operation a man who allegedly recruited minors as models through a Facebook page but sold them to pedophiles instead.

The suspect who was identified as Kristoffer Lee Sacramento was arrested by operatives of the Anti Trafficking in Persons Division of the PNP-WCPC after he allegedly brought three boys with ages 12-14 to a poseur pedophile customer in a coffee shop in Taguig City.

According to PNP-WCPC Anti Trafficking in Persons Division Chief Police Colonel Sheila Portento, Sacramento allegedly maintained a website recruiting male models and then later selling them to pedophile clients.

“Binibenta niya abroad ang images, ang modus nito parang meron siyang site na search for male models. Doon nagpapagkita ng mga pictures ng binatilyo projecting as models,” Portento said.

Police operatives posed as customers and transacted with Sacramento who offered the services of the minors.

“Kapag magmi-meetup saka niya iga-gather itong mga bata depende sa kung ilan ang gusto ng mga parokyano. Yung una nga ipaparada niya para pipili si kliyente kung sino ang matitipuhan niya,” Portento said.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old Bob John Cruz alias Veeyah was arrested in Dasmariñas, Cavite for online cybersex with the tip coming from the Australian Federal Police.

“Sexually abusing minors and ibinebenta niya online, pictures, videos and nagla-live streaming din siya,” Portento explained.

The PNP-WCPC said the suspect victimized his neighbors and even his own sibling, based on photos and videos sent to the foreign pedophile.

The suspects will be charged with violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 (RA 9208), Child Abuse Law (RA 7610)and Cyber Prevention Act (RA 10175).

The PNP-WCPC may be reached through the following hotline for any information on cybersex activities and online prostitution: 7235261.
