Isko inspects Delpan Evacuation Center turned PUI facility

<p>MANILA - Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Saturday inspected the Delpan Evacuation Center in Tondo, which will be used to house persons under investigation (PUIs) and persons under monitoring (PUMs) for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).</p><p>Rooms inside the 4-story building are equipped with basic facilities like electric fans and TV sets. Each floor has its separate public toilet and bath facilities.</p><p>The building will serve as additional facility for PUIs and PUMs to also help decongest Manila hospitals already swamped with COVID-19 patients.</p><p>Moreno was with Manila Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna Pangan during the inspection.</p><div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script></div><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/ManilaPIO/photos/a.628912720926754/837409663410391" data-width="auto"> </div><p>As of Friday, Manila has recorded 291 positive cases of COVID-19 and 37 deaths. The Manila Health Department also said that 25 have recovered from the virus and that the number of PUIs has reached 453.</p>
