MANILA—Pet animals will now be allowed inside public utility vehicles, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said in a memo dated April 15 and announced publicly on its website Friday.

According to Memorandum Circular No. 2019-019, PUVs may carry pets as long as the animals are inside carriers and placed in a designated animal compartment of the vehicle "should there be other passengers."
