MANILA - Restaurateur Vicvic Villavicencio died of an accidental gunshot while cleaning his pistol, police said Saturday. Villavicencio, whose company First Foods popularized eat-all-you-can buffet dining, was cleaning his pistol at his home in San Juan City on Monday when he accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself, said Eastern Police District chief Police Brig. Gen. Christopher Tambungan. His family earlier said he died of a heart attack. Police have ruled out foul play in his death, citing forensic investigation findings. Tambungan said Villavicencio&#x27;s son and long-time aide underwent paraffin tests as they were at the restaurateur&#x27;s home when the incident happened. Both tested negative for gunpowder residue, the official said. Police now consider the case closed.
