Nakararanas ng power interruption ang ilang bahagi ng Quezon City, Pasig, Las Piñas, Taguig, Makati, at iba pang lugar sa Metro Manila nitong Miyerkoles.Ayon sa ilang residente, alas-7 ng gabi nang nagsimulang mawalan ng supply ng kuryente. Ayon kay MERALCO spokesperson Joe Zaldarriaga, dulot ito ng biglaang pag-ulan.Hindi pa batid kung anong oras maibabalik ang supply ng kuryente dahil depende umano ito sa naging problema.Tugon ng MERALCO sa mga nagrereklamong customer sa social media, pupuntahan na ng kanilang mga tauhan ang mga apektadong lugar.Una na ring nagpalabas ng power interruption advisory Miyerkoles ng gabi ang Meralco sa malaking bahagi ng San Miguel, Bulacan dahil sa isang nagkaproblema linya. Aabutin umano ng tatlong oras ang isinasagawang pagkukumpuni.Samanatala, ilang minutong natigil ang operasyon sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport matapos maglabas ng red lighting alert ang PAGASA 9:38 ng gabi. Agad namang naibalik ang normal na operasyon sa paliparan matapos itong ibaba na sa yellow lightning alert ganap na 10:02 ng gabi.
