Martin Diño.&quot;Kung matino kayo na kandidato, susundin ninyo ang inuutos ng Comelec (Commission on Elections). Merong nakalagay dun kung saan kayo maglalagay ng inyong mga poster at kung anong sukat,&quot; he told radio DZMM.(If you&#x27;re competent candidates, you will follow the guidelines set by Comelec. They indicated there where you should post these posters and its correct size.)&quot;Kung hindi kayo sumunod, bugok kayong kandidato. Kandidato pa lang kayo, hindi na kayo marunong sumunod sa batas,&quot; he said.(If you don&#x27;t follow, you&#x27;re rotten candidates. You&#x27;re only candidates, but you could not follow the rules.)Comelec prohibits candidates from posting, displaying or exhibiting &quot;any election campaign or propaganda material outside of authorized common poster areas, in public places, or in private properties without the consent of the owner thereof.&quot;They also limited lawful election propaganda materials to: a. pamphlets, leaflets, cards, decals, stickers or other written or printed materials the size of which does not exceed 8.5 inches in width and 14 inches in length; b. handwritten or printed letters urging voters to vote for or against any particular political party or candidate for public office; c. posters made of cloth, paper, cardboard or any other material, whether framed or posted, with an area not exceeding 2 feet by 3 feet; d. streamers not exceeding 3 feet by 8 feet in size displayed at the site and on the occasion of a public meeting or rally. Said streamers may be displayed 5 days before the date of the meeting or rally and shall be removed within 24 hours after said meeting or rally; e. mobile units, vehicles, motorcades of all types, whether engine or manpower driven or animal drawn, with or without sound systems or loud speakers and with or without lights; f. paid advertisments in print or broadcast media subject to the requirements set forth in Section 9 hereof and Republic Act no. 9006; g. in residences of candidates, lawful election paraphernalia may be displayed, but banner or streamers referred to in paragraph D above should not be allowed; h. all other forms of election propaganda not prohibited by the Omnibus Election Code or these rules.Diño, a former barangay chairman who is now undersecretary for barangay affairs, said citizens should take photos or videos of the violations they see.His office then will forward these concerns to Comelec and &quot;challenge&quot; the poll body.&quot;Suspendihin niyo o kaya i-disqualify niyo na ito dahil ito ay violation.
