Tuloy ang botohan para sa national at local election sa ilang lugar sa Davao Occidental sa kabila ng matinding pagbaha ngayong Lunes dulot ng pag-ulang dala ng inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ).
Kasama sa mga lugar na binaha ang Barangay Mana sa bayan ng Malita, kung saan inilikas ang 13 pamilya.
Sa kabila nito, tuloy ang pagboto ng mga residenteng botante, sabi ng municipal disaster response officer na si Jun Jaso.
Ayon kay Jaso, hindi naman naapektuhan ng baha ang mga vote counting machine at iba pang election material ng Commission on Elections.

Patuloy rin aniyang nasusunod ang health protocols sa mga polling precinct.
Tuloy din ang botohan at ang pagpapatupad ng health protocol sa mga polling precinct sa Davao de Oro, Davao del Sur at Zambaonga City sa kabila ng buhos ng ulan dulot din ng ITCZ.
