Ferdinand &quot;Bongbong&quot; Marcos Jr. is leading the presidential race, according to the partial and unofficial results of the 2022 national and local elections Monday.</p><p>As of 2:32 AM, May 10, 2022, Marcos Jr., the standard-bearer of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, obtained 29,319,865 votes, based on 92 percent of partial, unofficial election results. </p><p>With this, Marcos Jr. has surpassed the record-number 16 million votes that President Rodrigo Duterte obtained in 2016.</p><p>Vice President Leni Robredo, Marcos Jr.&#x27;s closest rival, is at second place, obtaining 13,986,496 votes so far. </p><div class="embed-wrap"><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img alt="Marcos Jr. leads" src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2022/news/05/09/presidential-race-232am.jpg"/></figure></div></div><p>Sen. Manny Pacquiao is at third place with 3,275,855 votes, followed by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso with 1,794,789 votes, and Sen. Panfilo Lacson with 844,620 votes.</p><p>Faisal Mangondato is at sixth place with 213,733 votes, followed by former presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella at 7th place with 104,335 votes, labor leader Leody de Guzman at 8th place with 85,992 votes, and former defense secretary Norberto Gonzales at 9th place with 82,144 votes.</p><p>Jose Montemayor trailed among the presidential bets with 55,796 votes.</p><p>The results were sourced from the Commission on Elections&#x27; (Comelec) transparency server, which is housed at the University of Santo Tomas (UST).</p><p>Marcos Jr., 64, was the frontrunner in the pre-election surveys conducted by Pulse Asia. </p><p>In the latest and final Pulse Asia survey held April, Marcos got 56 percent, while his rival Robredo got 23 percent.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/05/02/22/april-polls-of-pulse-asia-topped-by-marcos-pacquiao-overtakes-isko">Marcos tops Pulse Asia&#x27;s final survey among pres&#x27;l bets; Pacquiao overtakes Isko</a></li></ul><p>If Marcos officially wins the 2022 elections, he will lead a country that is P12 trillion in debt with a debt-to-GDP ratio of more than 60 percent.
