<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/news/05/10/ambo.jpg"/></figure></div>MANILA - Light to moderate rains are expected over Mindanao as Tropical Depression Ambo moves northwestward over the Philippine Sea, state weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday.In its 11 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Ambo was last located 405 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometer per hour (kph) near the center, with gusts of up to 55 kph.It is moving northwest at 20 kph.Ambo is expected to bring scattered light to moderate, with isolated heavy rains during thunderstorms, over Mindanao in the next 24 hours.Moderate to rough seas will also be experienced on the eastern seaboards of Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Oriental, and Davao Occidental. The raising of tropical cyclone wind signal in any locality is less likely within the next 48 hours, PAGASA said.Ambo is the country’s first storm this year.Residents in these areas are advised to continue monitoring PAGASA for updates.
