MANILA—Jonvic Remulla beat Erineo "Ayong" Maliksi in Cavite's gubernatorial race, based on unofficial results from the Commission on Elections' transparency server.
MANILA—Jonvic Remulla beat Erineo "Ayong" Maliksi in Cavite's gubernatorial race, based on unofficial results from the Commission on Elections' transparency server.
Remulla, who was governor from 2010 to 2016, got 820,890 votes, while Maliksi, who held the same position from 2001 to 2010, received 493,085 votes, with 99.5 percent of the province's votes canvassed as of 4:20 a.m.
