Arthur Yap was proclaimed provincial governor Thursday, edging out former Secretary to the Cabinet Leoncio Evasco Jr.Yap, a former agriculture secretary, got 326,895 votes versus Evasco&#x27;s 324,734 votes. Evasco said he would seek Yap&#x27;s disqualification due to alleged <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/05/15/19/evascos-supporters-decry-alleged-vote-buying-in-bohol">vote-buying</a>.The outgoing congressman was proclaimed governor at around 3 a.m., after all towns in the province transmitted election results. Eight data storage cards malfunctioned earlier and had to be reconfigured, causing a delay in the canvassing, said Comelec Bohol acting supervisor Eddie Aba&quot;These are all allegations, I refuse to comment until there is evidence.
