Jabson St.; San Guillermo Street; Sandoval Avenue; and F. Legaspi Bridge.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><div id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1_Container"> <ivs-player id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1" data-ivs-spid="3001339" data-ivs-key="e8c22c015ca9eafa76f1e3edfa03c603" data-ivs-vid="1385645" data-ivs-floating="1"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/iframe-parent.js"></script> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js"></script> </div></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>The scheme bans four-wheeled vehicles with plates ending in even numbers from using these roads every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while odd-numbered vehicles are banned from these areas every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.</p><p>Motorists have complained about being <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/09/01/16/new-traffic-scheme-causes-confusion-in-pasig-city">confused</a> by the scheme, which has been in effect since September 2016.<br/> </p><p>Sotto said he was the only councilor who voted against the implementation of said scheme.</p><p>&quot;Proud po akong sabihin at lagi ko pong sinasabi na ko lang po ang konsehal na tumutol sa odd-even na coding scheme, at tatanggalin ko po kaagad yan,&quot; he said.</p><p>He added there is a provision in the ordinance allowing the mayor to rescind it immediately.</p><p>&quot;Yung pagkasulat po sa ordinansa ay puwede po natin siyang i-suspend. So in effect, matatanggal po siya,&quot; Sotto explained.</p><p>Sotto said the scheme has been ineffective at easing traffic because it only reroutes vehicles. It has also caused tension with other local government units affected by the scheme, Sotto said.</p><p>Traffic enforcers will also no longer need to meet &quot;quotas&quot; for apprehension, he said.</p><p>Sotto earlier criticized the income target imposed on Pasig&#x27;s Traffic and Parking Management Office, which he said makes traffic enforcers prioritize apprehending violators instead of helping direct traffic.</p>
