MANILA - Some of the candidates for Senate and party lists received zero votes from Kalayaan town in Palawan, which only had one clustered precinct.

Based on partial and unofficial results as of Sunday afternoon, Cynthia Villar, received the most number of votes at 79, followed by Grace Poe with 70.

Lito Lapid overtook Christopher "Bong" Go, receiving only 4 votes more than Go's 54 votes.

Some candidates for senator, like Emily Mallillin, Sonny Matula and Leody De Guzman, got zero votes.

The top three party-lists which got the most votes in Kalayaan got less than 20 votes each.

AKO-Bicol took the lead with 14 votes, followed by Kalinga with 12 votes and All-Fish with 11 votes.

The town of Kalayaan situated in Kalayaan Island in the West Philippine Sea.

As of 2015, Kalayaan has a population of 184 people.
