<p>MAYNILA - Nagsanib puwersa ang National Bureau of Investigation-National Capital Region (NBI-NCR), Bureau of Customs at Philippine Coast Guard at sinalakay ang isang warehouse sa Barangay Don Galo, Parañaque City kung saan nakita ang kahon-kahong hinihinalang smuggled face shield.</p><p>Pasado alas-singko Huwebes ng hapon, sinalakay awtoridad ang nasabing warehouse matapos makatanggap ng reklamo ang NBI na may mga hinihinalang peke at smuggled na face shields doon. </p><p>Pagdating ng mga operatiba, nakita sa likod na bahagi ng compound ng warehouse ang maraming kahon ng face shield. </p><p>Ayon sa Intelligence Officer ng BOC na si Alvin Enciso, tinatayang aabot sa P70 milyon ang halaga ng mga face shield na galing sa China. Hindi umano dumaan sa inspection ang mga produkto at maaring hindi rehistrado sa Food and Drug Administration. </p><p>Sabi naman ni Jimmy De Leon ng NBI-NCR ang mga face shield na nasa warehouse ay maaaring peke kaya hindi ito epektibong gamitin, baka mas makasama pa sa tao na imbes na maprotektahan ang gagamit nito. </p><p>&quot;It is dangerous to the public na gumamit sila ng fake. In the first place hindi sya dumaan sa proper authorities like the FDA so we cannot assure yung efficacy and security purpose by which na ginagamit talaga ang face shield,&quot; aniya.</p><p>Dahil may iba pang produktong kasama sa warehouse ang mga nirereklamong face shield, lalagyan lang ng kordon at selyo ang lugar para matiyak na hindi na ito mailalabas. </p><p>Nakatakda ring inspeksyunin ng trade mark holder ng Heng De ang mga produkto nitong Biyernes.
