Adiong urged the military to assist in the evacuation process as &quot;there are too many people on the roads.&quot;The surge of people fleeing Marawi City as well as heavy rains have clogged major roads to Iligan City, Adiong said in an interview on ANC.The commute from Marawi to Iligan usually takes about 40 to 50 minutes, but now it takes around five hours, Adiong added.The vice governor called for humanitarian and medical aid for evacuees who are expected to take refuge in Iligan and other nearby areas.If you want to bring relief goods and other services, don&#x27;t go to Marawi City, just welcome the evacuees here in Iligan, he said.
