Ito ay kasunod ng mga pangamba ng ilang magulang at grupo na hindi kakayanin ng mga estudyante na makakuha ng Internet access sa isinusulong na virtual learning methods. Ayon sa DepEd, marami man ang mga teacher at estudyante ang may mga cellphone, hindi naman lahat ay may Internet. Nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang Department of Education sa Presidential Communications Operations Office para sa paggamit ng mga istasyon ng TV at radyo sa pag-aaral ng mga estudyante. &quot;Si Secretary [Martin] Andanar nag-offer ng tulong para magamit ang govt tv stations and radio,&quot; ani Educational Secretary Leonor Briones. Bukod sa government TV at radio station, gagamitin din ang private media entities. “Lahat po ng private companies na media ay pupuwedeng i-tap po and if ABS-CBN can come back on the air, I’m sure as a way of showing the commitment to the Filipino people, that they will allow their broadcast to be used for educational purposes,” ani Briones.Iginiit ng DepEd na hangga’t hindi ligtas dapat munang manatili sa bahay ang mga bata para mag-aral hangga’t walang clearance mula sa Department of Health at coronavirus task force.
