For ride-hailing vehicles, a division between the passenger and driver is required, and both are required to wear face masks, Nebrija said. The car should be sanitized after every ride, he added.

The transportation department earlier said public transportation would resume in 2 phases under GCQ. The first phase from June 1 to 21 will allow the operation of permitted train and bus augmentation units, taxis, ride-hailing cars, point-to-point buses, shuttle services and bicycles, but at limited capacity.
