MANILA – State-run Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM) on Friday apologized after a movie was inadvertently played on the official Facebook page of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).Some netizens were surprised after the Facebook page Presidential Communications played the movie “Logan,” which stars Hugh Jackman.“The film was erroneously played for a few seconds by our technician that was doing a test on the equipment set-up,” RTVM said in a statement.“We regret that this slip-up happened while we continue to work on our daily broadcast documentation and coverage of presidential engagements,” it said.The page posts updates on President Rodrigo Duterte&#x27;s public engagements and carries live Malacañang press briefings, among others. The error is the latest in a series of blunders involving the Palace media and communications team.Earlier, the state-run Philippine News Agency <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/05/30/17/state-run-news-agency-apologizes-for-errors">drew flak</a> after its story on the ongoing Marawi City siege included a photo of soldiers in Vietnam.The PCOO also had to take down its <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/05/31/17/palace-video-martial-law-should-be-the-rule-of-the-land">martial law video</a> due to intense public criticism.
