<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1y-xLQf_vvQ?enablejsapi=1"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>MAYNILA<strong> (UPDATE) </strong>— Galit na galit umano si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte nang makarating sa kaniya na hindi pa pala nabibigyan ng benepisyo ang mga health worker na nagkasakit o namatay dahil sa COVID-19.</p><p>Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque nitong Huwebes, nagbigay ng ultimatum si Duterte na Hunyo 9 ay dapat naibigay na ang lahat ng kompensasyon sa mga ito.</p><p>&quot;Hanggang Martes, hanggang Martes lang po ang binigay ng Presidente para sa lahat ng kinauukulan na ibigay ang mga compensation benefits sa health workers na nagkasakit ng COVID-19 in the line of duty at sa mga pamilyang naiwan ng mga namatay na health workers,&quot; ani Roque.</p><p>Sabi ng Department of Health (DOH), napirmahan na nitong Huwebes ng umaga ni Secretary Francisco Duque III ang joint administrative order at hinihintay na lang ang pirma ng mga kalihim ng Department of Labor and Employment at Department of Budget and Management para mailabas ang ayuda.</p><p>&quot;We are hopeful that within the day this signed joint administrative order will be issued. We just need to have the funds ready. The funds will be taken out of the different budget wherein we are looking at reallocated and realigned appropriations so that we will be ready for the funds of P32 million as well as P100,000 for patients [who are in] severe and critical [conditions],&quot; ani DOH spokesperson Maria Rosario Vergeire.</p><p>Ayon kay Vergeire, handa na ang pondo para dito.</p><p>Matatandaang alinsunod sa Bayanihan to Heal as One Act, dapat nabibigyan ng P100,000 ang kada health worker na nagkasakit ng COVID-19, habang P1 milyon naman ang dapat ibigay sa pamilya ng mga namatay na health workers.</p>
