Aurelio &#x27;Dong&#x27; Gonzales, Jr., as she was laid to rest Thursday.</p><p>The 57-year-old was among 37 guests and employees who died in the attack at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City on June 2. The lone gunman, <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/06/04/17/resorts-world-gunman-an-ex-govt-employee-in-debt-ncrpo">Jessie Carlos</a>, killed himself after torching casino tables and stealing casino chips in the predawn attack. </p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/news/06/09/bethgonzales2.jpg?ext=.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Archbishop Emeritus Paciano Aniceto, the former Archbishop of the Archdiocese of San Fernando, led the funeral mass where the lawmaker shared the ordeal that he and their 21-year old son Brenz went through in identifying his wife&#x27;s body.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/news/06/09/bethgonzales3.jpg?ext=.jpg"/></figure></div><p>After the mass at Anao Chapel, Elizabeth&#x27;s remains were laid to rest in the family mausoleum behind the chapel.</p><p>Elizabeth&#x27;s sister, Consolacion &#x27;Connie&#x27; Panlilio-Mijares, also died in the attack. </p><ul class="op-related-articles" title="">	<li><a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/focus/06/02/17/timeline-resorts-world-manila-attack">TIMELINE: Resorts World Manila attack </a></li></ul>
