16 ISM graduates accepted into Ivy League schools, other top universities

MANILA - Sixteen graduates of a Manila-based international school have been accepted into Ivy League schools and other top universities.

In a statement, International School Manila said the record number of students of Class 2019 got in 7 out of 8 Ivy League universities: Brown University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Harvard College, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania and Yale University.

"More than ever before, being admitted into a highly competitive university has become increasingly difficult with admission rates declining year on year," it said.

Other graduates will be attending Stanford University, Boston College, Duke University, New York University, Tufts University, Swarthmore, Pomona, and UC Berkeley in the US.

The students were also accepted in universities in Canada (McGill University, University of Toronto and University of British Columbia) and United Kingdom (Durham University, Imperial College London, University College London, Imperial College London, St Andrews University, and the University of Bath.)
