Pero ‘yung P20 [kada kilo ng bigas] eh talagang pag-aaralan ko nang husto ‘yan. Pag-aaralan namin nang husto. Mukhang P20 sa ngayon mahihirapan tayo,” ani Estrella sa isang chance interview. </p><p>Katwiran niya, mataas sa ngayon ang presyo ng langis pati na abono. </p><p>“Pero malapit lang namin nang konti [sa P20 kada kilo], ‘yon lang malapit doon, pwede na,” dagdag niya. </p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/06/07/22/p20-per-kilong-bigas-suntok-sa-buwan-ayon-sa-mga-magsasaka">P20 per kilo ng bigas &#x27;suntok sa buwan&#x27; ayon sa grupo ng magsasaka</a></li></ul><p>Sinabi kamakailan ni incumbent DAR Secretary Bernie Cruz na posible ang P20 presyo ng bigas sa susunod na taon kung gagamit ng mga &quot;megafarm.&quot;</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/06/08/22/p20kg-rice-possible-by-2023-via-mega-farm-dar-chief">P20/kg rice possible by 2023 via &#x27;mega farm&#x27;: DAR chief</a></li></ul><p>Mabigat naman ang bitbit na pressure ng papalit sa kaniya na si Estrella. </p><p>Apo si Estrella ng kauna-unahang DAR Secretary na si Conrado Estrella Sr. na nagsilbi sa ilalim ng diktadurya ni Ferdinand Marcos Sr. </p><p>Isinusulong ng nakababatang Estrella ang paggamit ng tamang binhi, modernong teknolohiya, at soil analysis para mapataas ang lokal na produksyon.</p><p>Para sa kanya, magiging hamon ang pangungumbinsi sa mga magsasaka. </p><p>“’Yong ugali ng magsasaka, minsan hindi sila nakikinig eh pero kailangang kaibiganin mo sila at kumbinsihin mo sila nang mabuti at makikinig sila,” ayon kay Estrella.</p><p>Isa sa mga itutulak na programa ni Estrella bilang kalihim ng DAR ay ang pagbibigay ng titulo ng lupa sa mga magsasaka, bukod sa Certificate of Land Ownership.</p><p>“Gusto natin maging productive itong magsasaka natin. Ang mahirap kasi, na-issue sa kanila Certificate of Land Ownership award, hindi pa yung titulo.
