<p><br/>MANILA — A Parañaque court on Friday acquitted six tagged in the 2011 slay of actor Ram Revilla, whose real name was Ramgen Bautista, and the shooting of his then girlfriend Janelle Manahan.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">BREAKING: A Parañaque court has acquitted due to insufficiency of evidence Ramon Joseph Bautista, 5 others accused of killing actor Ramgen Bautista aka Ramgen Revilla and of shooting Janelle Manahan in Oct 2011. <a href="https://t.co/nuy5AsUMfz">pic.twitter.com/nuy5AsUMfz</a></p>— Mike Navallo (@mikenavallo) <a href="https://twitter.com/mikenavallo/status/1139449274364653568?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 14, 2019</a></blockquote><div><script async="" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charSet="utf-8" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>In its ruling, Parañaque Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 274 Judge Betlee-Ian Barraquias said the prosecution failed to produce sufficient evidence to pin down the accused. </p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/nation/metro-manila/10/29/11/actor-ram-revilla-killed-para%C3%B1aque-home">Actor Ram Revilla killed in Parañaque home</a></li></ul><p>Among the suspects were Revilla&#x27;s brother Ramon Joseph Bautista and his alleged cohorts Michael Jay Nartea, Roy Francis Tolisora, Glaiza Visda, Jan Norwin dela Cruz, and Bryan Pastera. </p><p>Revilla is a son of veteran actor Ramon Revilla Sr. </p><p>The court ordered the release of the suspects who have been detained throughout the duration of the trial. </p><p>In the same ruling, Barraquias also ordered the issuance of an alias warrant of arrest against Revilla&#x27;s sister and another accused Ramona Bautista who remains at large.</p><p>Revilla and his then girlfriend were attacked in their home in BF Homes, Parañaque.
